We aim to help and support one another through life's difficult moments. We feel that one of the best forms of therapy is simply speaking. Peer-to-peer support is a format that The New Normal Charity has proudly adopted from its inception. We have been helping people through life's difficult moments for over three years now- facilitating conversations between individuals who find themselves in very similar positions. We aim to ensure that no one feels alone or isolated, no matter what they are going through. Our spaces are all free, open to all, and non-judgemental.

June 10th: our Queer Culture Speaker Series returns with our 5th talk! **Equality in a Time of Transition: the Landscape of Gay and Lesbian Rights in the Early 2000s** by Marco Wan, University of Hong Kong In recent years, the debate over same-sex marriage has taken center stage in discussions of gay and lesbian politics in Hong Kong. In this talk, Professor Marco Wan brings us back to the late 1990s and early 2000s to explore the legal developments that set the terms of that debate. He revisits the key court cases from the period to ask what it might mean for gays, lesbians, and queers to step into visibility in a time of social, political, and cultural change. Free admission.
